DataThings S.A. (https://datathings.com) is a technology company based in Luxembourg, founded in 2017 as a spin-off from the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) at the University of Luxembourg (https://www.uni.lu/snt-en/)..) The company specializes in software engineering, the development of machine learning solutions, and the creation of AI-augmented digital twins, which we call “AI Twins.”

Its mission is to develop intelligent software systems that transform data into actionable insights, thereby supporting businesses in making optimal operational decisions.

DataThings has acquired recognized expertise in the development of machine learning solutions, big data analysis, and data visualization. The company leverages a deep understanding of artificial intelligence techniques and associated technologies to meet the diverse needs of a wide range of industries. Additionally, it regularly participates in various large-scale pan-European projects such as Horizon 2020, Ira SME, and Eureka, taking the technological lead on topics focused on AI and machine learning.

In seven years, DataThings has evolved from a university spin-off to a trusted innovation partner for major clients such as power grid operators, industrial companies, and financial institutions.
