B-SENS is a high-tech company specialized in the design and manufacturing of fiber optic sensors for temperature and strain monitoring, with a strong focus on demanding geothermal applications.

Leveraging telecommunication-grade optical fiber, B-SENS has developed a robust and environment-adapted sensing technology combining precision, reliability, and compactness.

Using light as the information carrier, our sensors are fully passive, immune to electromagnetic interference, and ideally suited for real-time monitoring in harsh and complex environments such as geothermal wells and underground energy systems.

A single optical fiber (only 250 µm in diameter) can host up to 40 sensing points, significantly reducing cabling requirements and simplifying installation in large-scale or hard-to-access infrastructures.

B-SENS fiber optic sensing solutions are particularly valuable for geothermal energy applications, enabling accurate downhole temperature profiling, thermal front monitoring, and structural health assessment of geothermal installations under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.
